I have worked here for the past 7 years. My role in the programme can be summarized using the following two questions?
Has child survival improved over the years? That is, has death in children reduced or is it getting worse? Why?
A vaccine meant too prevent pneumonia was launched in Kilifi 7 years ago. Is it working? Have we seen decrease in the number of hospital admissions due to pneumonia? It takes more than one person to answer these two fundamental questions. And I am part of that group.

The first thing I do when I arrive at works draw a short list of things that I need to accomplish by the end of the day. I then think about how I will get them done.
Like I mentioned, there is so much collaboration and this means that meetings are necessary so I also schedule my meetings to occur mostly in the afternoon.
Some of the projects I am involved in require days in terms of analysis so each day I complete smaller sections of the analysis.
Quite often I also get to advise and assist other colleagues in different projects with their analysis.
At the end of the day I check off all the completed tasks on my shortlist and plan for the next day
