  Differences in voice tones can be due to the width of your vocal chords. Men usually have wider vocal chords and deeper voices whilst women narrower and higher pitched voices. Nevertheless no two people have the same voice and also women can have a range of voice types from deeper and more manly to more feminine high pitch tones. We are all different.
