      Hi Leaishon,

      Thanks for your question and sorry I didn’t respond sooner.

      The simple answer to your question is that stars produces energy just like sun which causes them to shine. During the day the sun makes the so bright that we cannot see the much dimmer stars. At night, when the sky is dark, the light of the stars can be seen.
